Cobblestone Runway Lookbook Behind the Scenes

we had our shoot for the first ever cobblestone runway lookbook series, and we can not wait to share the final product with y'all!!

we teamed up with zoe boutique, the dog park and the sugar house to create cobblestone runway, a biannual lookbook that will feature the charm, beauty and all around amazingness (its a word, we promise) of old town, alexandria!

we were so excited to work with carlis from spicy candy dc and together we got a great group of bloggers to model our looks! tammy from a loyal love, wendy from old town home and rachel from my fair vanity showcased the shoes, clothes, and accessories -- along with a girl's best friend, the adorable pals of the dog park: lulu, mercy faye and britta!
...and dont yall worry, our bryarly made her cameo as the most stylist dog walker ever.
it was all very hitchcock chic.

our go-to-must-have-cannot-live-without photographer, susannah from alumbra photography was such a trooper all day, and as always, we can.not.wait to see the gorgeous photos she took yesterday!

our fab models, rachel, tammy & wendy

because this winter has been completely miserable and has lasted well beyond its welcome, nobody has been able to get their tan on. to say we were all a just little pale would be kind. luckily for us we had suzanne della pella carlough from bronzed berry custom organic spray tan come in and give us a natural and beautiful glow that had people thinking we had just come back from a caribbean vacay. if only.

all our models had their hair&makeup done over at the sugar house day spa, and we were so so so obsessed with the way they came out! the makeup was so fresh and clean, and the hair was red carpet ready. if only we could have them do us up every day!

we started off the day at the morrison house. this is one of our favorite hotels in old town (they're our neighbors too!) and we were so excited to shoot there!

after the morrison house set we headed down to the waterfront to snap a few photos on the beautiful pier and cobblestones of prince street (one of our fave places to shoot, if you couldn't tell!).

britta was done. no more.

meet haro, who is up for adoption through operation paws for homes!!

this is darling, who is also up for adoption!

once we finished by the waterfront we headed up to jackson20 at hotel monaco for "yappy hour", which is a doggy happy hour that happens every thursday at jackson20 from april to september.

we all felt pretty exhausted at the end of the day, but the photos are going to be so amazing, and it was such a fun (and a little crazy) experience!

be looking for the full lookbook on april 15th…..
