its the most magical time of the year: awards season.
the golden globes last night were quite entertaining. our fave funny ladies, tina fey & amy poehler hosted and they had us laughing all night long.
the red carpet was our favorite part, of course, and we're here to share our picks for best dressed as well as some trends that we noticed. so let's get goin'!!
"my top three looks were lupita nyong'o in ralph lauren (not an original choice, but totally deserving), emilia clarke in proenza schouler & the lovely anna gunn in donna karan atelier. i love all the structured, simple looks that these women wore & the styling was perfect. sometimes, less is more."

"i love a red carpet. i love the posing, the silly interviews, the mishaps but, yall, the fashion, its just so hollywood. i am still giddy over all the good that we saw last night, seriously, im counting down the days till the Oscars! per the usual you cant have the good without the bad...plus, no red carpet would be complete without the dreadful (what.the.fuck.were.you.thinking) moments, <straight up side eye to you: lena, drew, PAULA, and julia's button down> but i digress, cause bry and i already tweeted about those moments. since i couldn't just pick three favorites, bry let me have four. "

of course, the ever chic, ever classic black & white. this trend is here to stay, and we are so happy about it.
metallic always & forever. neutrals with some shimmer. love.
monochromatic color blocking. all over. plus, lots of our 2014 pantone, radiant orchid. embrace it.
this is the first of many red carpets, and we can't wait to watch them all with you!
